My name is Michael D. Hart. I was born on September 16, 1977, in Indianapolis, IN. I was raised by my grandparents and took an interest in basketball, baseball and traveling at an early age. I graduated from Warren Central High School in 1995 and enrolled in Ball State University. I became a father to my son in 1997.
On June 4, 1998, I was convicted of murder and sentenced to 50 years. In 1999 I began playing chess which led me to better understand consequences and helped my journey towards reform. In 2004 I finished my bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in General Studies and received a Culinary Arts degree in 2006. I continued my rehabilitation by completing programs such as: anger management, business information technology and becoming a tutor to others.
On June 20, 2019, I was released from prison on parole, became a father again to my first-born daughter, obtained my class A Commercial Driving License and begin driving box trucks and cargo vans for AER Logistics.
